Call for Participants: Stories of War
We are looking for military members, veterans, and their family members in the NYC metro area to join us for this project. Participants will receive a stipend and travel reimbursement for the workshop series and performance.

Join Exit12 along with WVET as we co-host a veterans performance salon. This is an evening of dance, poetry, and spoken word by military-connected individuals, for family members, close friends and those who have served in the military. Together, let’s build the NYC community of military and veteran artists.
Free to attend; donations welcome.

Exit12 is returning to the Intrepid Museum this spring with workshops and dialogue about the effects of war on veterans and civilians. After a six-week series of creative workshops with a cohort of 20-30 persons who have experienced global conflict, Exit12 will present a performance of dance, theater and spoken word.
This project is made possible by a partnership with the Intrepid Museum supported by New York State Council on the Arts and National Endowment for the Arts Grants.
This project is also made possible by public funds facilitated by the New York City Council's Committee on Veterans, in partnership with the New York City Department of Cultural Affairs, and the New York State Council on the Arts with the support of the Office of the Governor and the New York State Legislature.

Exit12, in collaboration with CreatiVets, is touring to Nashville, Tennessee this spring with workshops and dialogue about the effects of war on veterans and civilians. Exit12 will present a performance of dance, theater, and spoken word alongside live music performed by CreatiVets artists.
